In the far north of Karelia, on the shore of a picturesque lake, there stand scattered, as if by chance, several buildings. They all feature shingle-covered barrel vaults and glue-laminated wood arches. Each and every one of these buildings is a bit different: every vault has a unique form, and every arch—its own type of decoration.
