The creation of an internal space is, first of all, about making an atmosphere. It is important to comprehend the space, to feel it. It is necessary to understand what will happen in space, what is the meaning of it. On this depends how elements which form the space are arranged, what deserves a light accent, and what should be hidden in the twilight. What kind of materials to use and what mood they will create. The office is a small work space in a house built in the late 19th century in Moscow. There are two tables here - one small for solitary and concentrated work, and the other, tall, long and narrow for meetings, at which participants communicate standing up. In the corner there is an old armchair for reading books, which are not stored in a bookcase, but on a shelf along the perimeter of the space. Through five tall windows you can see the river and the old town. The ceilings and walls were cleaned up to a layer of lime plaster of the time of the house origin. The toilet is a high light space with a large window and a marble floor. Wardrobe is a room with a heavy steel door, which used to be used as a safe.
